“Mel Hall loved sex. Sex is what drove him,” said McMillan. According to a high school teammate, Hall impregnated two girls by the time he was a high school senior. The best guess of Texas authorities for the number of children he eventually sired is eight.
...
HE SAID HE HAD NOTICED THE BLOND, WHOLESOMELY BEAUTIFUL GIRL IN THE STANDS THAT DAY, AND WANTED TO GET TO KNOW HER BETTER.
...
The first time Hall had sex with Jennifer, her father was asleep on the sofa several feet away. After it was over, the 15-year-old cried. Decades later, she testified that Hall told her it was OK because he would marry her once she turned 18.
The photo of Mel Hall and Jennifer at her high school prom, which appeared in the 1991 Yankees team yearbook.
She is now 40. Through all the years, as she steered her life from a subject of gawking into a remarkably conventional version of suburban motherhood, she kept it all: The photos, the love letters, the apology letters, the jewelry receipts. She needed proof. It was such a bizarre story that nobody would believe her otherwise. Sometimes it’s still hard for her to believe herself. Everything happened so fast, and she had so little control over how it unfolded.
After the Friday night game in which Hall had amazed the Diaz family by tapping his bat three times on the plate, he called the house and spoke to Jennifer’s mother. He told her that despite his fame and wealth, he felt overwhelmed and alone in New York, in need of a family. Jennifer’s mother always had a soft spot for strays — she “loved the unlovables,” as Jennifer put it in a recent interview — and Hall had a manipulator’s ability to tell people what they wanted to hear. The two hit it off and talked for hours. By the end of the conversation, Hall was calling her “Mother.”
He invited the family to Yankee Stadium the next day for the Saturday night game. He gave them box seats, Yankees jackets, and the signed baseball that Jennifer had asked for in her fateful letter weeks ago. Nobody thought too much about what Hall’s angle was, because thinking too much would have ruined the rapidly evolving fantasy. But Jennifer’s father, likely sensing that Hall might be interested in his daughter, cautioned Hall upon meeting him at the stadium that his daughter was only 15.
“Keep drinking your milk, kid,” Hall quipped. Everyone laughed, the potential uneasiness of the situation diffused by humor.
The following day, a Sunday, Hall found time to speak at length again to Jennifer’s mother, and the two arranged that he would come over to the house in Fairfield, Conn., later that evening. Fairfield is a well-to-do New York City suburb, but Jennifer says her family was at the bottom rung of the town’s economic hierarchy: Her mother ran a daycare business out of the house, and her father was a contractor. When Hall pulled up to the Diaz home in a limo, the family was so impressed that they took pictures of his arrival.
That particular day had been rough for Jennifer: She had gone to the beach with her friends and told them about what had transpired with Hall, but, not without a little envy, her friends had made fun of her. When Hall arrived, he said he had come because he heard she was upset. He said he would protect her, and that destiny had brought them into each other’s lives. And, only a day after meeting her in person, he told her that he loved her.
Jennifer poses with the Chevy Cavalier that Mel Hall gave her.
For the rest of the week he came over every night after the game, fantasizing to Jennifer way past midnight about their future together. Before she knew it, before anyone had asked her how she felt about it, he had moved into her family’s home. Yes, Mel Hall, a major league baseball player, was coming home after every game and sleeping on the living room floor of a suburban family whose 15-year-old daughter he had just met and with whom he now claimed to be in love.
That same week, he bought Jennifer a red Chevy Cavalier convertible — despite the fact that she was too young to have a driver’s license. Gifts came pouring in to her family as well. Tickets to every Yankees game for the whole clan — Jennifer’s attendance was mandatory — and transportation via limo. A Corvette convertible for her father. One morning, bulldozers showed up at their home to start digging an in-ground pool. If Hall wanted to buy his way through life, as his bodyguard McMillan suggested, he was certainly buying his way into the Diaz’s hearts.
HALL EVENTUALLY MOVED FROM THE LIVING ROOM INTO THE MASTER BEDROOM, DISPLACING THE PARENTS TO HER OLD ROOM.
Mel Hall was teammates with Luis Polonia on the Yankees in 1989 when Polonia was charged for bringing a 15 year old (blond) girl into a Milwaukee hotel room with him for sex. Polonia claimed he “did nothing wrong.” When the Milwaukee Brewers sent a message, having their pitcher give Polonia some “chin music” (throwing at him), Hall charged the pitcher for a bench clearing brawl. Though I was a long time Yankees fan, I stopped being a Yankees fan or a baseball fan altogether at that point. What made it most sickening was the way baseball soft peddled these issues - the Yankees even took Polonia back after he had been traded away. Hall’s prom date(!) picture with Diaz was featured in the Yankees Yearbook. Perhaps more dismaying still was the reaction (or lack thereof) from Whites in general. Even my older brother said (with a laugh), “if he hits well, he can have a harem of them.”
I can’t repeat what I said to my older brother in response.
MILWAUKEE—California Angels outfielder Luis Polonia has settled a lawsuit with a Milwaukee young woman who sued him after the two had sex at a hotel room when she was 15, the woman’s lawyer said Monday.
Polonia, who was with the New York Yankees during the 1989 incident, took the girl to the Pfister Hotel in 1989 after a game with the Milwaukee Brewers.
He claimed she consented to sexual intercourse and that she told him she was 19 and had had sex before with several baseball players. The woman’s lawyer, James Murphy, said she was a virgin, ‘particularly naive and vulnerable and was led to believe that Polonia’s attentions were virtuous and honorable.’
Murphy said the lawsuit was settled over the weekend. He declined to name the amount of the settlement, but said it was ‘very substantial and would cause Polonia to think twice about using his celebrity status to prey upon underage females who tend to look up to and admire professional athletes.’
Murphy said the settlement would pay for psychological therapy for his client and provide for her future education.
Polonia was criminally charged in the incident and pleaded no contest to sexual intercourse with a child. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail, fined $1,500 and ordered to pay $10,000 to the Sexual Assault Treatment Center at Sinai Samaritan Medical Center. Polonia agreed in January to a $2.4 million, one-year contract with the Angels.
Former Yankees outfielder Mel Hall has been charged with sexually assaulting two girls in 1998 and 1999 when he was coaching them on a select basketball team.
The 46-year-old Hall was released from jail Friday on $35,000 bail. He was arrested the previous day on charges of sexual assault of a child under 17 and aggravated sexual assault of a child under 14, police said yesterday. The second charge carries a possible life sentence because of the age of the alleged victim.
When Hall was arrested, there was also an unrelated outstanding warrant on a theft charge, police said.
DAILYKENN.com —Seriously? Is Jon Snow unaware that Britain was totally white for millennia? That homogeneity was the norm until our generation?
The Channel4 news anchor went on a rant during a Brexit rally on the day that the United Kingsom was scheduled to leave the European Union. Britons voted in 2016 to part ways with the globalist union, but politicians have refused to honor the very democratic government that placed them in office.
The Channel 4 News broadcaster, 71, made the comment after seeing images of Brexiteers demonstrating outside Downing Street.
Jon Snow made the controversial observation during live coverage of the pro-Brexit protest in Westminster this evening.
Protesters outside the gates of Downing Street this evening - after Nigel Farage and Tommy Robinson spoke to the crowds earlier in the day
Thousands of people turned out to march on Westminster this afternoon on the day that the UK was supposed to leave the EU.
So far, five arrests have been made around Whitehall where marchers have been singing Land of Hope and Glory and waving Union Jacks throughout the day.
But as Snow spoke over images of the protesters near No 10, he made a comment about the race of protesters.
Speaking live from Parliament Square, he said: “We’ve just got these pictures in which were taken nearby.
“Police are now wearing riot gear. Police dogs are patrolling. The mood has changed.
“We cannot confirm whether any arrests have been made.
“It has been the most extraordinary day. A day which has seen… I’ve never seen so many white people in one place.
“It’s an extraordinary story — there are people everywhere, there are crowds everywhere.”
‘STUPID COMMENT’
Clips of Snow’s comment were shared online triggering a backlash from social media users.
One said: “What a stupid comment.
“You’re literally looking to vilify anyone that you don’t agree with and make out this is about or race or something.
“Poor journalism, very poor.”
Diana Harding added: “I cannot believe I have just heard this! Channel 4 News and Jon Snow sink to a new low!”
And another tweeted: “Has he never watched an FA cup final at Wembley, or gone to Glastonbury? Seeing as he lives in a country which is majority white people, seems like something he would [have] seen in his decades of life.”

The Alternative für Deutschland (Alternative for Germany, AfD) party in Germany has formed a “Die Neudeutschen” (The New Germans) group comprised of immigrants and homosexuals which they say will “combat their xenophobic image.”
The message of the new group, according to a report in the Deutsche Welle, is that “all are welcome as long as they agree to an end to illegal mass immigration.”
“Die Neudeutschen” group was formed over the weekend by AfD politicians who all have immigrant roots, and was presented at a press conference in Berlin this week, the report said.
Anton Friesen, an AfD lawmaker from Thuringia, said that the formation of the group was “overdue.”
“Since the AfD was founded, many German citizens with immigrant backgrounds have voted for us,” Friesen told DW.
“Now there is finally an association that gives these people names and faces,” he added. Friesen, who helped initiate the new AfD association, was born in Kazakhstan and moved to Germany with his parents when he was nine years old.
His fellow group spokesman is Alexander Tassis, the son of a Greek migrant worker who is an AfD state lawmaker in Bremen. He is also heads the “Alternative Homosexuals”—an AfD-aligned group for homo, lesbian, bisexual and “transgender” party members. One of the two leaders of the AfD in the German parliament (Bundestag) is Alice Weidel, who is an openly-declared lesbian.
Currently, the “New Germans” group has 20 members who are German citizens with Polish, Iranian and Colombian roots, as well as ethnic Russian-Germans and Romanian-Germans, Friesen said.
With European Parliament elections coming up in May, as well as several key state parliament elections in eastern German states in the fall, “The New Germans” hopes to win over potential voters by holding events on German-Polish relations and what Friesen describes as “the new, imported anti-Semitism.”
With the new group, Friesen hopes to “correct” what he views as an incorrect public image of the party. “The AfD isn’t xenophobic,” he said. Rather, the party is focused on people who are already in Germany.
This includes “patriotically-minded migrants” who advocate for “the protection of our western culture and our values,” Friesen adds. Members must agree to the group’s manifesto, which advocates for “harsh action against all forms of anti-Semitism” and the “comprehensive de-Islamization of Germany.”
It also urges for an “end to illegal mass migration, which undermines the opportunities in life for socially worse off Germans.”
In October 2018, a small number of Jews formed “Jews in the AfD” group to boost Jewish support for the party.
All of these efforts will, of course, have no effect whatsoever, as the controlled media is not interested in protests by the AfD as to how homo- or immigrant-friendly they claim to be. The controlled media and its establishment controllers want nothing less than total subsevince to the race-denying Third World invasion, and the total destruction of all white nations through the swamping and replacement of white people by nonwhites.
Hence, anything less than this will be met with never-ending hostility, smears and lies by the controlled media—a lesson which the AfD will eventually learn the hard way.

Visigrad Post, “The Hungarian Government’s Offensive Campaign for the European Elections”, 4 Mar 2019:
By the editors of the Visegrád Post
Hungary – A new campaign by the government against Soros and Juncker; rising criticism in the EPP against Fidesz; and looking ahead to the local Hungarian elections
By undertaking a new billboard campaign against well-known financier George Soros, but also the current President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker (of the European People’s Party [EPP], Christian Democrat), Viktor Orbán’s administration was not afraid to anger either Brussels or Fidesz’s own partners in the EPP – of which they are still a member – three months before the European elections, despite growing criticism.
“Soros – Juncker – You also have the right to know what Brussels is preparing! They want to impose mandatory migrant quotas. They want to weaken border protection in the Member States. They want to make immigration easier by issuing visas to migrants.” Budapest, February 2019. Picture: Visegrád Post
A break between Fidesz and the EPP?
The poor relations between Orbán and Juncker are nothing new. We can remember the “friendly” slap Juncker gave Orbán during a European summit in 2015, at the height of the migration crisis. This gesture was a rare inelegance – even if occurring after an enjoyable champagne lunch – on such a high political level.
Orbán, always a wise strategist, is aware of his strengths and weaknesses. He’s used to calmly facing unpleasant situations, waiting for the right moment to counterattack later. This is how he operates on both the national and international levels.
Already in July 2018, the Hungarian Prime Minister made no secret of the fact that he is glad that the European Commission’s current term, under Mr. Juncker’s leadership, is ending: “The European elite has failed, and the European Commission is the symbol of that failure. This is the bad news. The good news is that the European Commission’s days are numbered. And I have counted them: it has some three hundred days left before its mandate expires.”
During the vote on the Sargentini report in September 2018, when the European Parliament voted to sanction Hungary for its supposed violation of the “rule of law,” the break between a large number of the EPP’s representatives and those of Fidesz was readily apparent. Among the EP’s representatives, the vote went as follows:
114 in favor
57 against (including the 12 Fidesz MEPs)
28 abstentions
20 absentees
Among the 114 MEPs who voted in favor of the Sargentini report, one can find Manfred Weber of Germany, who was chosen – with Fidesz’s support – in November 2018 to be the EPP’s candidate to succeed Juncker as President of the European Commission. After the vote, Mr. Juncker declared that he regarded Fidesz’s membership in the EPP as a problem.
Other leading figures of the EPP, who were previously favorable towards Fidesz, might now turn against it. For example, Joseph Daul, the EPP’s President, was once a defender of Orbán’s; but recently, for the first time, Daul publicly criticized him and the anti-Juncker billboard campaign in a tweet:
Other EPP representatives likewise distanced themselves from the new Hungarian campaign. Unsurprisingly, Austria’s Chancellor, Sebastian Kurz, is among them. The MEPs of his party, the Austrian People’s Party (ÖVP), voted in favor of the Sargentini report. Despite the populist rhetoric which brought him to power, the young Austrian Chancellor remains strongly linked to the Soros networks. He recently welcomed Mr. Soros to Vienna to discuss the move of Soros’ university, Central European University, from Budapest to Vienna following pressure from Fidesz. Kurz also didn’t hesitate to distance himself from Johann Gudenus, the leader of the Austrian Freedom Party’s (FPÖ) parliamentary bloc, when he criticized Soros, despite the fact that the FPÖ is currently Kurz’s coalition partner.
Another criticism came from Juncker’s possible successor, Manfred Weber. Weber declared that with only 13 MEPs out of 751, Fidesz won’t be able to decide Europe’s future. If this merciless call back to reality seems very true, let’s mention that Fidesz doesn’t have 13 MEPS, but only 12; and also the fact that the next European Parliament will have only 705 MEPs instead of 750, due to Brexit.
Moreover, the likely weakening of the majority groups in the European Parliament (the EPP and the Socialists) in the May 2019 elections will strengthen Fidesz within the EPP. According to the polls, Fidesz might win more MEPs in the EPP (if they in fact remain in the EPP) than the French Republicans. Given the comparative demographic weight of France and Hungary (the number of MEPs each country has depends on the size of its population), this says a great deal about Fidesz’s political strength in a Europe where a lot of the Member States are facing political instability.
With its likely weakening, can the EPP get rid of Fidesz and its partners? The Visegrád Post already raised this question in a study about the possible new combinations of European parliamentary blocs following this year’s elections. At the same time, seeing the anger of a growing number of EPP members over Fidesz’s membership in their group, can this situation continue?
One thing seems clear: Fidesz won’t leave the EPP, which would only become a martyr if the bloc decided to exclude them. Thus, the coming weeks will be rife with tension within the EPP.
The other target of Fidesz’s billboard campaign: Péter Márki-Zay, as a prelude to the upcoming local elections
On the left is a quote from Péter Márki-Zay: “Brussels should have followed Soros’ propositions.” On the right is a quote from George Soros: “I see myself as a kind of God.”
Soros and Juncker are not the only targets of this billboard campaign. Other Fidesz billboards appeared simultaneously, targeting the Mayor of Hódmezővásárhely, a town of 45,000 citizens in southern Hungary.
Why is this? There is no question that Fidesz will lead in the European elections in Hungary. But the issue at stake is not only for Fidesz to gain as many MEPs as possible in order to influence European politics, but also to influence the balance of power domestically prior to Hungary’s local elections in October 2019. In order to retain its rule over the majority of Hungary’s cities, towns, and counties, Fidesz has a vested interest in striking a blow in the European elections as well.
The turnout in the European elections is usually low, so the primary task of the political parties is to mobilize their core voters better than the other parties can do. This might allow Fidesz to obtain an even better result than it did during the Hungarian national election in April 2018, when they received 49% of the votes.
The local elections will also be a fresh opportunity for the opposition parties to achieve what they were unable to accomplish during last year’s national election: coordinating all the Left-liberal parties (the MSZP, DK, and Párbeszéd) with Jobbik (formerly of the radical-Right but nowadays a pro-EU and center-Right party, which is still the primary opposition). This strategy was launched in February 2018 during a local mayoral by-election in Hódmezővásárhely, which led to the victory of Péter Márki-Zay – an independent candidate who was supported by all the opposition parties – against the Fidesz candidate.
